Position:
We are currently on the lookout for an Enthusiastic and Operationally Strong Individual for the role of experienced Upwork Bidder (Tech/IT) at our office based in Lahore. The incumbent should have the below-mentioned skillset, expertise and experience in the field.
Responsibilities, Duties and Skills required:
- Research and identify potential clients and projects on Upwork aligned with company services (software development, design, marketing, etc.).
- Write personalized, persuasive proposals and craft compelling cover letters tailored to each client’s needs.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospects through Upwork messages to build relationships and increase project conversion rates.
- Analyze client requirements and collaborate with internal teams to create accurate project estimates and winning proposals.
- Track and manage all bids, client communication, and outcomes in a CRM or tracking sheet.
- Monitor bid performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance win rates.
- Stay updated on Upwork algorithms, trends, and client behavior to optimize bidding strategy.
- Prepare weekly reports on proposals sent, responses received, and deals closed.
- Proven experience as an Upwork Bidding Specialist or similar role in freelancing platforms.
- Strong understanding of Upwork’s project categories, pricing models, and client engagement strategies.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills for crafting professional and personalized proposals.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently, meet daily bid targets, and achieve conversion KPIs.
Education/Qualification:
Graduation or Bachelors degree in Marketing or CS/IT/SE or related field with 2+ years of experience (USA projects based) with Upwork.
